Since the Canoe Valley Men's Shed Society has taken management of the Valemount Community Garden, we have been working hard on the maintenance of the garden plots, repairs, weeding, cleanup and other needed projects. We are just getting started, we will be asking all our gardeners to pitch in and make this a beautiful garden! If you want to help out, please contact us.
The state of the garden needed some major work. Below is one of the repairs that was well needed.
There was winter mold and loads of weeds in the plots. We gave the plots a clean slate by weeding and turning the soil, now it is up to the gardeners to do their magic and maintain their own plots.
